What is Lisa up to this week?
According to this Radnor Patch article, Radnor Township was ranked #2 best school district in Pennsylvania and #3 overall by Niche.com!
Radnor schools…another community gem. We are unique in that our township and school district boundaries are contiguous. Shared resources and a renewed level of cooperation between the two could benefit all residents, the schools and township. Identifying opportunities for cooperation and partnership should be a priority.
Congratulations to Radnor students, teachers, staff and community on this well-deserved recognition.
A Morning with the Radnor Fire Company
Proving that you are never too old to take on a new challenge, I spent some time this morning with my Radnor High School friend, Damien Enderle, a newly-minted probationary member of the Radnor Fire Company. What an incredible operation with generations of members dedicated to serving the community. Another Radnor gem deserving of our gratitude and support. Thanks, Damien!
Clem Macrone Park
Joined Commissioners Elaine Schaefer and John Nagle and 6th Ward Candidate, Mollie Plotkin, to check out progress at Clem Macrone Park. It is coming along and hoping to have it open to the community soon. What a community gem it will be!
Honoring Art Lewis
Honoring one of Radnor’s finest this evening at the BOC meeting…Art Lewis. His contributions has made an immeasurable impact on our schools and our community. Congratulations, Art!
Race for Open Space 2017
A great morning at the Race for Open Space! Awesome job by the Pulos family and the Radnor Conservancy! Nice to see so many locals out running!
WXPN Music Festival in Wayne
What an awesome weekend at the WXPN Musical Festival in Wayne! I was so excited to spend some time tabling with some of Radnor’s other amazing Democratic Candidates and talking to Radnor Residents! Huge thanks to everyone who made this great event possible!
Carol Axelrod Blood Drive
So proud to join with Commissioner Shaefer and the other outstanding Democratic candidates for Commissioner, Heidi Diskin (Ward 2), and Mollie Plotkin (Ward 6) to support the Carol Axelrod Blood Drive yesterday. Seriously, I think I saw half our township out there supporting so many great causes – Red Cross, Radnor Memorial Library, and Radnor Fire Company!
Wheels of Wayne
A wonderful collaboration between Radnor Township and the Wayne Business Association to bring people into town for an afternoon of food, fun and classic cars. I was fortunate enough to help judge the pulled pork contest…no easy job. We are so fortunate to have so many amazing restaurants in Wayne! Yum! Christopher’s sandwich rose to the top among some very stiff competition. What a great day to be in Radnor!
Darby Creek Clean Up
It was a beautiful day to beautify the township! Residents from 4th & 5th Wards came out to clean up a stretch of Darby Creek. Organized by Commissioners Elaine Schaefer and John Nagle in collaboration with Darby Creek Valley Association.
